The Family

Meet the crew under our roof.

Every family has its cast of characters. Ours has two people, two boys, one very fluffy dog, and a whole lot of chickens. Here's who's who.

Mom

Alexis

Borough Council member overseeing community outreach. A whimsical artist at heart, happiest with a project in her hands, and a firm believer that neighbors take care of neighbors.

Dad (and the best stepdad)

Michael

Marine Corps Reservist, a lifelong dream he stepped into at 32. The Reserves let us stay rooted in Pennsylvania, close to family. Michael is Mikah's stepdad and chose him fully from day one. Also: builder of forts, teller of terrible dad jokes.

Marco

Born October 5, 2020. Small, mighty, and always three steps behind his big brother, usually with something sticky in hand.

The Havanese

Lucie

Small, black and white, silky coat. Believes she is a very large dog trapped in a small dog's body.

The Flock

A rotating cast of hens who lay excellent eggs and share plenty of opinions on the weather.
